To hone my videography skills I created a “how to” video. I enjoy creating costumes and mask making is a huge part of that. I had to set up multiple cameras to make this work because I only really had one mask and one opportunity to get the recordings I needed.
Setting up to film this was a challenge. Since I would be the one making the mask, and getting my hands dirty, there was not much chance to touch or adjust any of the 3 cameras once the process begun.
Each camera was set up to take a different shot of the whole process. I tested the focus for each multiple times and had to triple check that auto-focus was off. The still below was from the camera set to take extreme closeups.
