Passions & Hobbies
Before diving into my life’s story, let me tell you what I am about. I love teaching. As an Adobe Photoshop nerd, I enjoy showing other people how to also be Photoshop nerds. I’ve been designing print and digital media for well over 6 years and have picked up being a post secondary educator within the last few. This makes my career a perfect loop of learning new skills for the industry and subsequently showing my students that same skill.

I’m the kind of person who needs to know how things work. If I don’t know, I find out. It’s that desire to never stop learning that has made me the jack-of-all-trades artist that I am.
Beyond my career, I design t-shirts and upkeep some of the more traditional arts in the form of cosplay. Why cosplay? I love stories, in book, moving and game format. Dressing up as a character I like is my favourite tribute to some of my well-loved stories.
With an arsenal of cutters, iron-on vinyl and a dream I have made many t-shirt ideas manifest in the physical realm (after I draw them out with the pen tool in Illustrator of course).

My other hobbies include feeding squirrels and taking hikes along the many local, and some not so local, trails. With a camera in hand, I challenge myself to capture birds among other critters.
