In a bought of activism I teamed up with my local community to make our voices heard. We have a great little wooded area nearby that was slotted for development. I put together this video to help showcase how important this little slice of nature is and how betrayed the community felt that it was described as something of “little value.”
This news came to us during the winter so to display the other seasons we would need to rely on photos or archived footage.
Other than voice over and shots of the woods, the video also incorporates interview-style footage to make it a little more personal and help reassure other members of the community that they aren’t the only ones saddened and distressed by this move.
